Brand new Fruitsicles & Pastillas de Leche Cake: The Summer of Sebastian’s rolls on

The Summer of Sebastian’s continues in April! As the temperature continues to heat up, we are debuting all new-flavors for our Fruitsicle Sorbet Bars! We use a selection of local and imported fruits to come up with a range of delicious & exciting flavors. And because they are Sorbet made from nothing but real fruit, cane sugar and filtered water, they are dairy-free and vegan friendly as well. The flavors are as follows (Price: P135 per piece for all flavors):

KAMIAS

Known more as an ingredient for savory dishes, the Kamias fruit when mixed with sugar and water can make a delicious refresher with its own flavor notes that set it apart from calamansi juice and lemonade. We take fresh kamias straight from the tree and turn it into a pale green sorbet that tickles your palate with a mixture of sour and sweet.

BUKO PASSION FRUIT

One of our most abundant local fruits are coconuts, bursting with sweet & refreshing buko juice. We tuned fresh Buko juice into a creamy white Buko Sorbet and swirled it with Passionfruit Sorbet made with passionfruit from Davao and the result is a taste combination that is both familiar and adventurous.

MANGO RASPBERRY

Mangoes and Raspberries are our head Sorbetero’s two most absolute favorite fruits, and he finally decided to bring them together this summer. Real raspberries spun into a deep red Raspberry Sorbet swirled together with a bright yellow Mango Sorbet made from Fresh local Mangoes at the peak of ripeness. It may be an untraditional combination, but once you taste it you’ll see why they are our favorite.

TRIPLE MELON

One of the best parts about Philippine summers is Melon season, where the markets are full of ripe juicy melons of multiple varieties. We didn’t know which melon to focus on, so we decided to just use all of them! We take Watermelon, Honeydew Melon and Japanese Melons fresh from the market and turn each of them into sorbets, then we swirl them all together into one beautifully colored Fruitsicle Bar. Keeping the melons separate allows you to taste each melon and savor the complexities of each fruit.

Ice Cream Cake of the Month: PASTILLAS DE LECHE

Also for April, our featured Ice Cream Cake of the Month is Pastillas de leche. Our take on the Mexican Tres Leches, we start with a freshly-baked cake and soak it in a mixture of condensed milk & milk infused with dayap zest. We layer it with freshly spun Condensed Milk Ice Cream and top it with miniature pastillas and a white chocolate drizzle. This moist, sweet cake is a celebration of the delicious Philippine confection made from milk and sugar. Available as a 9-inch whole cake and for the first time, also available in slices for delivery or pick up.
Price: P1650 (whole) and P155 per slice

The new Fruitsicles and the pastillas de leche in slices debut this Friday, April 9 at sebastiansicecream.com and are available for delivery and pickup. Guaranteed FROZEN ON DELIVERY.

Hi Grace! You can request the flavor at the shop so they can restock it as we rely on our employees to tell us what flavors to make. Of you can order a custom gallon directly from our kitchen. We hope this helps!
