How do you deliver your products?

We do not rely on third-party delivery couriers to ensure that the quality and consistency of the ice cream arrives in peak condition with no softening or melting which can affect the texture. All deliveries are made in-house using our own delivery truck and we keep the ice cream in insulated containers with reusable Ice Packs. This is the same process we use to deliver to our shop and reseller partners.

    Why do some items say “Temperature sensitive product, store at 0˚C or 32˚F?

    Our Sorbets, Ice Cream-Sorbet hybrids like Mangga’t Suman and Fruitsicle Sorbet bars are made with just fruit and sugar and water and have no proteins from cream like the Dairy-based Ice Creams do and therefore require storage in a lower freezing point than ordinary ice cream. Ice Creams with a higher sugar percentage (like Pastillas de Leche and Salted Butter Caramel) also need to be stored at a lower temperature to stay in ideal condition.
    Storing them at improper temperatures risks the products softening and melting. We recommend storing your sorbets in a full freezer over an empty one as the more packed the freezer is, the easier it is for a product to stay frozen. We also recommend storing it away from the freezer door to minimize temperature fluctuations.
    If you aren’t sure if your freezer is cold enough and you don’t have a freezer thermometer, we recommend buying one Fruitsicle bar and testing your freezer to see if it softens overnight.

    What is the sweetener you use for your SWEET FREEDOM sugar free line?

    We use ​Isomalt​ in our SWEET FREEDOM sugar-free ice cream line aimed at Diabetics and people looking to minimize their sugar intake. It is a​ sugar substitute​, a type of​ sugar alcohol used primarily for its​ sugar-like physical properties. It has little to no impact on​ blood sugar levels, and does not stimulate the release of​ insulin​.​ It also does not promote​ tooth decay​, that is, it is​ tooth-friendly​.     Our current product list is a combination of best sellers and Seasonal flavors which will by cycled in and out depending on ingredient availability and customer demand.
